AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS

Awareness campaigns for safe drinking water typically employ a multi-faceted approach to educate communities. These campaigns often involve community engagement activities such as workshops, role-playings, and interactive sessions to raise awareness about the importance of clean water and proper sanitation practices.

Furthermore, involving local leaders and healthcare professionals can enhance the credibility and effectiveness of these campaigns by fostering trust and encouraging behavior change within the community.

Overall, these awareness campaigns aim to empower individuals with the knowledge and resources needed to ensure access to safe drinking water and improve public health outcomes.

Villagers get educated to use a simple cloth filtration if a community water source delivers turbid water.

In cases of turbid water such a cloth filtration should be conducted before disinfecting the water.

SCHOOLS

Educating school children about the relationship between clean water, hygiene, and health has a dual impact: not only do the children gain knowledge, but they also share this knowledge with their families, particularly valuable in households where parents may be illiterate.
